In this little girl’s life, there is a very special man that she calls Paw Paw. This is the little girl that gave him such a grand title, so it’s no wonder that he is absolutely wrapped around her finger! In his eyes, she is perfect and without fault – even when she might possibly be doing something wrong, Paw Paw is quick to make sure she knows its all okay 🙂

Seeing this little girl experience such a wonderful family brings me absolute joy. And when I asked if Paw Paw wanted to come help Ella walk on the beach for a few pictures, you better believe he dropped everything and without hesitation, ushered little Ella outside and down the steps to the sand. I don’t think there is anything he wouldn’t do for this little girl.

This is just moments after the first rain band cleared with Hurricane Sally looming in the gulf. We were staying with family in Gulf Shores, Alabama. I had never been faced with leaving a trip early due to weather so in this last little moment of beach time, we decided to walk out for a quick little photo session. No dressing up or formal posing, simply just walking around and capturing a quick shot or two of the beautiful dunes in front of our beach house. I wasn’t expecting the heavy lens fogging, seeing as I’m not normally shooting pictures at the gulf! It was causing a lot of blur which was not ideal but I’m glad I have them. While I had hoped to capture a few more formal shots of family members, I couldn’t pass up the last chance to catch a quick picture of Paw Paw and his little girl.

 

She could go anywhere and he would follow

 

 

I don’t think he could be any happier than right here with her in his arms 🙂
