I had the absolute pleasure of being the additional photographer at Lucy + Brent’s wedding. From the moment I walked into the bridal suite to start the day, I absolutely fell in love with this amazing family! Lucy’s mom was glowing with delight and was more than happy to tell me the story of how they met since, after all, she takes full credit for it 😉 In summary, mama loved Brent and his heart of gold and couldn’t wait to set him up with her sweet Lucy and it totally worked! It really was by God’s (and mamas) design that Lucy + Brent came together in marriage!

We took portraits at The President’s Mansion on campus at The University of Alabama – the spot where they got engaged! It was only fitting to capture their wedding journey this way! Not pictured is the massive lightening strike that we were pretty sure struck campus that day (I might have screamed lol). You wouldn’t know that a storm was brewing from these photos!

All the wedding details were stunning! The Capstone Church had a beautiful reception hall that was elegantly styled for the event. The colors of the floral arrangements and the bouquets were so gorgeous! But nothing was as stunning as the bride in her elegant fit and flare gown with a long sleeve lace cover. The long veil draped so beautiful down the back of her dress and made for some stunning shots!

Her bouquet was so beautiful with light and dark pinks, a touch of purple, and the most elegant greens.

 

Brent + Lucy are so precious together!!
