We are just TWO weeks away from this gorgeous couples wedding and I am thrilled to share their engagement session with you!

Carson + Joel are simply the sweetest couple – I can’t even put into words! We started their session in downtown Fairhope, Alabama – probably one of the cutest towns I have ever been to! As we were walking to our first location, we talked about where everyone is from, how they met, and all the fabulous details! Well in the midst of our small talk, we had an “its a small world after-all” moment. Even though I’ve never been to Selma, Alabama – Joel’s hometown – my husbands oldest brother was the youth pastor at Joels childhood church in Selma (for several years) and come to find out had men’s bible study weekly with Joel’s dad! Little moments like that just tell me that God brought this couple to me and knew we’d be a perfect fit!

Starting their session dressed up in downtown Fairhope was perfect! I always like starting dressier with couples then changing into a date night casual outfit to end the session. Carson and Joel were perfectly framed in the little downtown markets, their outfits were perfect!

Oh and as if this session wasn’t cute enough, Carson & Joel had the most radiant smiles, their joyful hearts were so delightful to be around – it was simply wonderful to spend time with them on this special occasion – I felt so blessed and honored to be their photographer!

After finishing in downtown, we changed outfits to a more dressy casual date night look and traveled over to the Bay.

 

The Spanish moss in the trees by the bay was simply stunning but at first glance, all I notice is Carson and Joel – I am so overjoyed at how perfect these images turned out! It was a magical session for sure 🙂 Carson and Joel continued to radiate joy and love in every single photo!

Our final stop was on the pier – we were lucky to find one in tact after the several hurricanes this year – some hitting the bay area directly!
