This Tuscaloosa High School Senior session had the best spring weather, seriously it could not have been more perfect! Karleigh Wyres, a Hillcrest High School Graduate, was simply stunning in her outfits. Her bright and loving personality (naturally as a HHS cheerleader!) was so evident during our time together. I met Karleigh through her mom, Mrs. Wyres, whom I work with a Hillcrest Middle School! When I learned that her daughter was graduating, I promptly figured out a way to get Karleigh in front of the camera and I am SO glad I did!
Our session started at Tuscaloosa’s Capitol Park, an iconic photo spot in Tuscaloosa for its beautiful green space. One of my favorite spots are the natural stone columns where the sunlight just lightly falls against the brick edge. It makes for some of the most stunning portraits! After we finished at Capitol Park, we ventured over to downtown Northport – a gem of the Tuscaloosa region. The quaint shops and old city structures make a beautiful setting. Karleigh’s red top popped against the light city backdrop.
I simply adored this session and cannot wait to see all the amazing things Karleigh is going to accomplish!!
So this is one of my favorites, just look at her smile!

Here are a few Senior session tips:
- Plan a session in the afternoon – that is the best lighting!
- A signature session (90+ minutes) is best because it allows for multiple locations / outfits!
- Go pro – hair and makeup if you can.
- Choose 3-5 outfits just in case, and we can narrow them down together
