This downtown Tuscaloosa engagement session was certainly one I wont forget. Darah and Frank were so much fun! They started their session downtown in casual attire then we traveled down to the riverwalk in a more dressy fashion. The location is perfectly fitting because these Tuscaloosa locals will be getting married next year near the riverwalk at Heritage House! I remember talking to Darah before booking and I explained why I have engagement sessions with my future brides. I do this to get to know my couples, give them an awesome experience, and to let them practice before their wedding day! Of course a huge bonus is having a beautiful collection of engagement portraits together! And with these two, I simply had a blast!
We started downtown on the corner of Greensboro and University. You can probably spot some popular buildings in the background, like Embassy Suites! We traveled a block over to finish in the downtown area and if you look closely, you’ll spot some Depalma’s, a Tuscaloosa classic. That little alley was just too cute to not take pictures! Afterwards, we traveled down to Manderson Landing where Darah and Frank transformed into stunning attire.
According to Darah, Frank is a big fan of dressing up – so naturally, he rocked it! But he couldn’t outshine Darah in that gorgeous long flowing pink dress. Gosh, if only I could pull off something like that! Any engagement session is going to be stunning when you have a long flowing dress, it not only elevates your photos but allows for movement in the composition.
The sunlight falls just north and to the left of the river, pouring over Manderson Landing in such a beautiful way. Take a look as these Tuscaloosa Riverwalk Engagement photos of Darah & Frank, they are simply amazing!
