Michelle & Brandon’s July Tuscaloosa wedding was intimate and joyful. A southern farm style wedding with touches of subtle elegance and farmhouse decor. It was a perfect merriment for their styles. Brandon, a casual country boy & Michelle, a gorgeous southern girl. Both of which enjoy the simple things in life. Well, maybe Michelle likes a few fancy things (especially shoes 😉 But, their story makes this wedding even more intimate, joyful, and cherished. One I feel absolutely blessed to be a part of. Both their wedding & engagement session.
When two families come together, it can be challenging. However, when there are two people who are so destined for one another, find love again in each other, is it deeply unifying to everyone in their lives. I found their love to be so genuine, pure, and true, I am not sure I have ever witness such a profound passion that two people have for one another such as this. The most telling of testaments comes from their children who speak so well of their parents new found love and the character they display. My heart lept with joy in these moments. It made every part of the day that much more special.
Their story of coming to be with one another was not easy and not without deep heartache. They both share similar scars that many will never experience nor can they imagine. But in each other, they have found love, friendship, and refuge.
In early July, they shared vows and incorporated navy, burgundy, and soft ivory into their decor. Of their details, I think the brides shoes were my favorite! Their outdoor ceremony at Orvis House in Fayette, Alabama was without a cloud in sight. Close family and friends were in attendance at their farmhouse style venue and the night ended with food, sparklers, & fireworks! Here is just a sweet sample of their day!!
The inside of the grooms ring, a special phrase between them & their wedding date
These two were inseparable (and probably still are!)
